Strategy
We focus on the unique challenges faced by orphans in the coastal area by:
- Providing long-term, individual sponsorships to restore stability.
- Offering group-based sponsorship options, making support accessible and communal.
- Allowing flexible giving, including one-off donations and digital support via Patreon and BuyMeACoffee.
- Partnering with trusted local actors to ensure aid reaches children discreetly and safely.
We understand the risks these children face, especially in areas still under continuous tight political control or social surveillance. Our safeguarding policy ensures:
- Total discretion in child identification and sponsorship communication.
- Strict screening and training of all staff and sponsors, with a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harm.
- Mental health support where possible, recognising the trauma linked to loss, arrest, detention, or public stigmatisation.
Protecting the child means protecting their history, their safety, and their future.
Safeguarding
Privacy Policy
For children from Syria’s coastal region, privacy is survival. We:
- Never disclose identifying information about children or their guardians.
- Use encrypted and secure donation systems.
- Adhere strictly to GDPR and other data protection laws.
- Avoid any political exposure for children still living in sensitive areas.
Donors may receive anonymised updates, but child safety is our highest priority.
Our Journey So Far..
The Beginning
The project started in March 2025, documenting +800 orphaned children.
We started advocating and spreading the word to bring back hope to these young broken hearts.
First advocacy efforts bloomed !
By the end of June 2025, we connected 311 orphans to dedicated sponsors from all over the world.
Documenting continued and reached +1100 children.
Educational support through partners!
In September 2025, we collaborated with partners to provide educational and tutoring support, preparing the children to get into higher school and university.
More orphans, but also more helping hands reached!
In January 2026, the number reached 1407 orphans in need, and 612 of them are receiving help monthly through our sponsorship program and donations
A year after the tragedy!
In March 2026, Wheat, Home & Dreams project aims to connect more children to sponsors who will change their lives through their support for food, stability, and education to empower their journey to adulthood.
